創世記 41章 43節

　ヨセフを王の第二の車に乗せると、人々はヨセフの前で、「アブレク（敬礼）」と叫んだ。ファラオはこうして、ヨセフをエジプト全国の上に立て、
　And he made him ride in his second chariot. And they called out before him, “Bow the knee!” Thus he set him over all the land of Egypt.

　「Bow the knee!」だとひざまずく感じだと思う。
