創世記 41章 49節

　ヨセフは、海辺の砂ほども多くの穀物を蓄え、ついに量りきれなくなったので、量るのをやめた。
　And Joseph stored up grain in great abundance, like the sand of the sea, until he ceased to measure it, for it could not be measured.

「量りきれなくなって量るのを止めるまで、穀物を蓄えた」
という感じがする。
　新共同訳の「ついに量りきれなくなったので、量るのをやめた」だとなんか投げやりな感じがするけどー。
