創世記 45章 10節

　そして、ゴシェンの地域に住んでください。そうすればあなたも、息子も孫も、羊や牛の群れも、そのほかすべてのものも、わたしの近くで暮らすことができます。
　You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near me, you and your children and your children's children, and your flocks, your herds, and all that you have.

　「your children and your children's children」=「息子も孫も」

　「子どもの子ども」と繰り返すのは野暮ったいので、「孫」で済ませるのは良いことだと思う。
　ただ、KJVでも「thy children, and thy children's children」となっているので、必要な言い回しであるのかもしれない。

　And thou shalt dwell in the land of Goshen, and thou shalt be near unto me, thou, and thy children, and thy children's children, and thy flocks, and thy herds, and all that thou hast:（KJV）

　あと、「your children」が「息子」と訳されていると今日的には少し気にかかってしまう。
　新共同訳の「息子」に当たる部分について、新改訳では「あなたの子」となっていた。けど、なんか機械翻訳みたいなザラザラ文章。

　あなたはゴシェンの地に住み、私の近くにいることになります。あなたも、あなたの子と孫、羊と牛、またあなたのものすべて。（新改訳）
